How can we show conservative revenue estimates and yet show investors great profit potential?

Ah, therein lies the art of creating the image of success.   Sometimes the numbers just can't be stretched reasonably beyond a certain point; if you go beyond that point you simply look foolish. 

The other thorny point is scalability; if it doesn't scale, it can't be wildly profitable and there is little potential.     

The key of course is to have both conservative numbers and realistic scalability; low risk, high reward.
