A Mexican Perspective on the Economic Collapse USA
Over the past few weeks I've spoken to dozens of Mexicans and Mexican Americans and their consensus is that for many of them the American Dream is over. There are three strategies of enduring the crisis: go back to Mexico, toughen it out here in California and the USA or find somewhere cheaper to live in the USA. This switch in perspective is leading to a drop in illegal immigration and profound social changes, both in Mexico and the U.S.
